Are there any Nike Zoom Elite 9 fans out there that have found something similar, comparable, or better since the Zoom Elite’s have been discontinued?
I’ve tried Asics Dynaflyte 2, and they’re okay shoes, but not nearly as good as Zoom Elite’s.
I generally don’t like Adidas based on fit.
Brooks Hyperion is my guess at what might be similar. Anyone tried both?
I have some Zoom Fly 3’s, which I like, but not like the Zoom Elite’s.
Have you tried the NB FC rebel? its a little weird to start with, but i found it very responsive. I know you dont like the fit of adidas, but the boston was a similar feel to me
NB Zante Pursuit is quite similar in my experience. I was a ZE 9 die hard (then ZE 10), but I'm quite satisfied with the Zante Pursuit. The foam feels bouncier (at least when new), and the stretchy upper is nice. While I'd still probably buy the ZE if it were available, the Zante Pursuit is a worthy replacement.
Reebok Floatride Run Fast, Skechers Razor 3, or New Balance Fuelcell Rebel.
Thanks for the recommendation. There are some Zante Pursuit's in my size on Amazon for $45, so I'll get a pair and give them a shot.
I got the Zante Pursuits and I’ve put sixty-some miles on them including easy miles, strides, a 400s workout, and some hills. I am underwhelmed since they were suggested relative to Zoom Elites. The Zante Pursuits are decent (not bad but not good), but nothing great. They are the only shoe where I need to use the top eyelet to help lock my heel, and even them my heel slips a little bit.
Anyone tried the Zoom Gravity shoe? I hear that it’s supposed to be the replacement for the Zoom Elite, but I’ve never read anything good about them and the look freaky and hideous.
What about the peg turbo 2?
