I think that there is one major positive to this social distancing, especially for us collegiate runners. Being forced to social distanced move away from campus has pushed us away from our training partners, facilities and coaches. Many who do not follow the way of the LORD will see this time as lousy time to train without all those resources and increased restrictions from the NCAA on practices and such. But if there is one thing we have learned from the boys at BYU, resisting the temptations of the devils core provides athletes with insermentable amounts of pure power. The temptations of the devil while at school often blind runners from the easiest way to get faster, abstinence. Forced social distancing is going to make this fall the fastest fall of all time as athletes come back to campus with pent up rage.
