I was wondering how much one would pay someone to advise them about training, etc. maybe come to some speed sessions and give them a schedule to follow. Keeping in mind that we are not talking about really elite runners; Someone who runs well, but isnt a beast, yet.
Lets just say that the coach would be either a small d1, d2 or d3 coach that would be involved.

It ranges from maybe $25 per month to over $100 per month depending on how "hands on" you want the coach to be.
I will charge $150 for the 6 month training program. I supervise some workouts and invite the participants to a weekly group run. I also provide one on one consults. In reality, I give clients as much time as they need especially early on when they might be learning a lot of new stuff.
If the person wants more attention, then the price goes up. I prefer to do 6 or 12 month blocks rather than a monthly fee mainly for ease.
I have not done this for running coaches, but you could do a Google or dogpile search and find websites.

u guys being serious? do u really have to pay to have a coach??? My club coach is a volunteer and he has a pretty big trainin group and coaches about 100 athletes. He is always either at the track or on the fone to his athletes an he does it all for free! All coaches are like that over here i fink!
do u not have a club system over there with coaches from each club??
Eddy would certainly qualify as a small coach. Do larger coaches really cost more?
