I am doing base work and strides, but I would love to take a second or more off my 200 time. I'm 18 and have never really done any sprinter-type workouts (no plyos or real sprint work aside from fast strides) and my 200 time is only about 28 seconds. I'm not fully grown so maybe some it will come naturally but I'm hoping to run 25-26 eventually.
I've seen SpeedKills post a lot of good info so if you or anyone else knowledgeable could reply with some workouts that won't interfere too much with basic distance training, I would appreciate it. Ideally it would be best not to get hurt doing this but to get faster, if possible.
