In reality if you were paid to pace El G in training and then paid by a oil state purely to run fast, I expect anyone would have a jump in performance.

This has been talked about and it's flat out NOT true. Ramzi did not get good out of no where. He was undefeated and just not allowed to enter the big races prior to 04'. He ran races only in may/sept/oct.
