Your PR is 2:03, and you're bummed out that you didn't get to chase sub 2 in an outdoor race this season. So you head down to the local track, bust out a solo time trial on pure hate, and end up with a self-timed 1:59.0.
Would you count that as a PR and as your first sub 2? If someone asks you what your PR is in the 800, would you say 1:59?
