Once George Kusche develops a better kick I can see him winning the mile. Every year in big 10s hes in the lead until the final straight along with Hoare
Coved-19 FTW.
Anybody but Batman’s crew. Oh, that’s right a distance coach who takes credit for his assistants’ work can’t qualify anybody to nationals worthy of points.
Hopefully DNS. Cancel the meet!
Fastest men's 3k field ever? I remember when the days when a 7:51 would be the fastest time in the country
THE GOOSE for 3k, which, despite the fast seeds, will be a very slow, tactical race. THE GOOSE wins the DMR with his ND teammates. Big chad Klecker will out muscle the opponents in the 5000m, despite twiggy Tyler Day's fast 5000m earlier this season. 800m goes to Dixon.

Agreed.
Iowa State will surprise by winning the DMR and Kurgat will win the 5000. Nuguse will win the 3000.
Where's the prediction contest? Can't expect me to make picks without something on the line.
One thing to note on the men’s mile: Villarreal was a DNS on 2/15 and complained on Twitter of back spasms.

He anchored the DMR and won his 3K heat (8th overall) at MPSFs on 2/29 but the results show a photo of each competitor crossing the line, he is clearly in pain holding his back:
Well remove the Harvard athletes from the predictions since they got pulled out by their school over the virus concerns.
Any school that is closing for the semester should not be sending athletes across the country for a meet. Predict many more scratches
*assuming no more scratches and the meet soldiers on*...
Devin Dixon
Carlos Villarreal
Yared Naguse (sp?)
Edwin Kurgat, tough to pass on T day and Klecker, that should be a great race
This might be the last NCAA event for the next four months.
They are all there already. The schools close the dorms for spring break but have people at nationals so it doesn't really matter if the school is open
The men’s mile and 3k field is luckily getting bailed out by Corona as they don’t have to race Kieran Tuntivate anymore, as well as in the outdoor season. Alot of competitors are relieved, believe me.
