Good find
Unlike the New Balance FuelCell TC that the brand launched a couple of weeks ago, these FuelCell RC Elite have stricter elements and purely intended for competition. The FuelCell TC had a more durable rubber and even the lateral reinforcements were more present to also promote training, although fast yes.
These RC Elite are the fastest whirlwind that New Balance has ever created. A model made for elite athletes and marathon runners who have good technique and muscles.
New Balance now has up to 3 models with carbon fiber plates with which we also observe the incorporation of new highly technical foams in the midsole of these shoes.
The initial pattern was the Fuel Cell 5280 and now we see the launch of two new cars prepared to make us perform at the highest level. The Olympic Games will be the first to see these models officially debut and the American brand has taken the opportunity to show their concern regarding some of the standards recently approved by the IAAF in relation to the sports shoe industry.
TYPE OF BROKER:
Obviously the battle of carbon is for runners who think of rhythms and times. We are not far from a model "for all audiences." The new New Balance Fuel Cell RC Elite will be, from September in Spain, the faithful companions of a select group of runners who have experience, and enough technique to master them.
DISTANCE TYPE:
The less than 200 grams of this shoe are going to force more than one out of the asphalt. New Dynaride sole to promote traction in the front area, where we see a sort of tackling similar to that of the tartan, and an increase in the FuelCell compound in the midsole to favor the rebound and return of energy in competition.
Drop 10mm.
Somewhere in the 230€ range
Sub M 2h 30'
Last but not least:
Targeted for light runners <65 kg (143 lbs)
Will sisson be wearing these 6 days from now
Thanks for sharing this video :). New Balance shoes are comfortable and light in weight as compared with other brands, me and my husband prefer to wear New Balance shoe for jogging.

Good! Sick of these fatties trying to run marathons and buying up all the Next % and improving their marathon times from 3:45 to 3:41.

Public health toll. No good argument for acting like obesity is okay.
Hopefully it’s a good shoe. Impressive how NB made a $200ish shoe look like $60.

It does look..bad, but maybe it works. I don’t know why they couldn’t keep things simple and put a plate in the fuelcell rebel. That would be a fast shoe.
The rebel was purported to be the training version of the 5280, and all it needed was the plate to become the long distance version of it.
The Rebel does have a plate in it, but it’s not full length. It only runs the front half of the shoe.
Anyone have any updates on the rc elite?

I understand a little Spanish, but not enough for this translation. Try to look for a good translator in this review

you're right. It's not a carbon fiber plate, but it does have a TPU plate. Maybe why the shoe has a nice pop to it.
WTF is happening to running shoes...?

Nike made a shoe with a high stack height and a spring plate that got a bunch of 220s guys an ot qualifier. Also got the east africans the wr and a bunch more sub 205s. Studies showed the shoe would produce a 2-4% faster time for the average runner. Now every shoe maker is trying to copy nike's success. This trend probably goes on until 2030 until someone releases a minimalist shoe that is well designed, something similar to the adizero rocket, or a streak lt with a better upper and a streak 7 type plate, and a few people run fast in it.
