Trans athletes are not a threat. We need to protect trans kids—and all LGBTQ+ kids—and ensure they feel safe and welcomed at school. I urge the Arizona legislature to reject this cruel bill.

Yet another assh!t posting an anti-trans article. Letsrun is embarrassing in this regard.
Trans are a threat to women sport. They could completely destroy pro women sport and push women out of competitions.
This is a major concern that should be adressed for the protection of women rights to compete in sport.

No, they’re not.

That's a weak answer.
A former man competing in a women competition is unfair to real women.
Would you expect anything different about men pretending to be women from someone who has spent their life pretending to be Native American?
Did Putin's Useful Idiot tell you that?

This is so obviously true. Yet so many will remain in denial.

If you had a daughter and she was competing against a trans in a boxing match, would you feel the same way?
And on another note, I’m curious if you or the other people who truly view them as girls would consider being in a relationship with one?
Warren is probably another politician who has never competed at any significant level in sports. Without that background, she is like many others who haven't understood the overwhelming advantages that biological males have in women's sport.

This is an underrated comment. Feel like people's true response to this reveals their deep down belief and not the one they project in order to pander or feel like they are with the "in" crowd.

This is the issue. If someone has zero background in sport, they view it as simply a participation issue, and it's easy to see how they come to the conclusions they do. For anyone who has spent any length of time competing or being around athletes, the vast differences are obvious. Where would e.g. Maria Mutola finish in the USA high school rankings for boys each year? The differences are just immense. Someone like Laura Muir would just about break the top 1000 for men in the UK. It simply isn't a level playing field and I don't believe hormones are the only factor.
If I was trans I wouldn't compete. I would train, but I would not compete.

No they aren't. Have you ever met anyone who is trans? You could say the same for a large portion of society. However, when it comes to sport, I don't believe it's fair and I don't believe decades of training as a man can instantly be discounted as some people seem to believe.

The rest of society doesn't commit suicide at a 43% rate. How exactly is that not a mental disorder?

Wow, Lenny, you knocked that out of the park. Thanks for the well substantiated arguments rather than the mere assertions.
The Arizona representative is proposing a bill to ban someone that doesn't exist.

Everyone agreed that Rachel Dolezal was mentally deranged when she identified as black. Why is it different for transgenders instead of transracials?

43% of the population kills themselves?
Are you that ignorant?

I do believe that trans people have a mental disorder and malfunction who make them reject their biological and natural state. This is not normal biologically and therefore it is clearly a mental problem. The society has evolved and try to soften , facilitate their life by allowing them to change their body in order to make them feel better. I have no problem with that, it's their body after all and they are suffering.
However, the society should not make biological women pay the price and let them get bullied and kicked out of their own sport category in order to soften the feelings of trans people.
