has anyone used these to run with their kids? if so, will it mess up your stride and/or arm carriage? what about impact on pace? does it limit your distance? recommendations on brand/model?
thanks

I have ran with a single and double babyjogger over extended periods of time. It never messed up anything for me. It does slow me down some. But once you get it going it isn't bad. I never got into running hard workouts with it or anything. I did run a 17:12 5K with our single the week after a marathon, ha. The only limit on distance for me was how long the kid(s) would hold out. They would usually get bored after an hour or so. I would suggest the original Babyjogger as the best brand I have seen, probably the most expensive too though.
Yes, it messes up your arms and slows you down, but you are not going to be doing anything quality with one. They're great for logging some easy miles and giving the wife a break. You get to run and you rack up some bonus points at home for your next run, the important one.
If you plan to make it 'quality time' in any sense whatsoever, you need to be prepared for frequent stops to pet a dog, pick a flower, etc., just like on a walk.
Baby joggers are really empowering. Wife at work? No baby-sitter? No problem. Go do an easy four or five with the kid. Best of all - you have a nice big pocket to put a bottle of water and some coloring books or stuff for your kid so they don't get bored. When my daughter was really young she always fell asleep in the thing, which was nice because it was tough getting her to take a nap. Definitely recommend it.
Totally agree with slob. Got many runs in that would not have happened if not for the jogger. Best damn piece of exercise equipment I've ever used!
