I like the comfort that the turbo offers and the shoe seems to get positive feedback on the whole.
However, I'd like my shoes to last 500+ miles. Have I made the right choice?

The Peg Turbo gets about a hundred more miles for me than the regular Peg.
I’ve got a 200ish on my turbo 2’s and they’re in great shape. I’ll definitely will be using them to 500 as long as the upper holds up. Peg 36’s I hate however....seem a lot stiffer to me than the 36’s for some reason? Dunno, thought they were supposed to be virtually the same.
It's an objective fact that the Pebax/Zoom X in the Turbo has a shorter lifespan than the EVA/Cushlon in the Pegasus 36.

Stevve
Hmm interesting. I would have thought the 36 foam would be more robust?
Which is better for tempos and speed work? I am leaning towards the 36 as it should be firmer and more responsive than the turbo? Are the turbos worth the extra cost?
The uppers seem to have around the same longevity. The outsole on the turbo 2 wears down a bit faster for me than the 36. The midsole on the turbo 2 goes way faster for me than the 36 -- separation between the two foams, tears in the zoom x foam, etc.

Definitely the turbo 2 for tempos. You may not like it for short intervals due to the softness.
