So lately I've been doing about 10-20 minutes of biking everyday as a kind of warmup before runs or in place of a morning run before work. I've found it to be a great way to warm up the legs or get some sort of quick training in the morning but is there any tangible aerobic or muscular benefit to doing this consistently? There are some hills on my usual route but I keep the effort pretty easy so my legs stay fresh for the actual workout later in the day.
