What happend to Savage?
15: something that can't be the time for the winner can it.
The British team strong, are u joking!!!!
Out of that team only one has broken 14 mins for 5km (with around 13.45) and the rest have run around 3.41 for 1500m. I would not put this as grounds for a strong team.
I hope the American team is stronger, if they are not you should be worried.
The British team are all better XC than track runners.
The guy who finished 4th though has run a 3:38 1500m. They should all finish in the 30s to 40s which should beat the U.S. team looking at the performance of 2 team members in Ireland on Sunday.
Hey, the U.S. team might not even get there looking at the War situation.
Who is Cain Williams??
Never heard of him.

Thompson and Farah have both broken 14mins.
Farah ran 14:05.72 at 17 and then 13:56.31 at 18 but has been injured for the last few years.
Thompson ran 14:07.29 at 18 and improved to 13:45.27 at 20 but has also been injured in recent years.
Chris Bolt who finished third in the British trial is better known as an 800m runner with a best of 1:48.85 and Angus Maclean in fourth is a 1,500m runner (3:39.88).
Chris Davies is the oldest of the top seven at 26yrs and ran 14:01.97 for 5k in 2000 and 7:57.48 for 3k in 1999.
Ben Whitby in seventh is a steeplechaser with a best of 8:32.68.
Farah and Thompson are probably the most talanted young British X-C runners in recent years (along with Sam Haughian) and both picked up medals at the European Juniors.
Who is the guy that won the trial?
didn't an american finish third in that race?
Dan Wilson was 3rd in the Irish Trial, Karl Savage was back in around 15th.
Steve Vernon won the 4k trial. He runs for Butler but flew home for the trial. He has back trouble so has not run quick inddors but is a tough cross country runner. Should place highly at Worlds as he ussually runs good in the big races.
Runs well in big races yea high finish in the NCAA'S What 170 of some thing like that
He has a nerve problem in his back that is being operated on after the World XC and troubled him all XC season over the the longer races......
10th Euro XC Junior 1999
32nd World XC Junior 1999
3rd Great North Internatinal 4km 2003
1st UK 4km trials 2003
He can perform in the big ones!
