So I should be running the 1000 at my regional meet in a week, and I want to know what you think I can run based on my workout today. It was 4 sets of 400-200-200 with 2 minute rest between everything and you're supposed to get faster between sets. Set 1: 70, 33, 33; Set 2: 68, 31, 31; Set 3: 64, 30, 29 Set 4: 59, 29, 28. It didn't really start feeling that uncomfortable until the fourth set after the last 400. My best time in the 1000 this season has been 2:48.
