Jemma Reekie just ran 1:57.91 in Glasgow indoor 800m. Laura Muir 1:58.44. Gabriela DeBues-Stafford 2:00.96
Their outdoor 1500m PBs are 4:02, 3:55, 3:56 respectively.
A better training group than Bowerman. Change my mind.

Reekie's previous PB was 2:05.52 indoors and 2:01.45 outdoors
That's a massive PB for Reekie. Dang.
If you consider the improvements of Debues-Stafford and Reekie in the last two years they are a better group than NOP...
Suspect her large improvement is down to better sleep, because she can now breathe more easily:

about a 3 and a half second 800m PB from just last June. Will be interesting to see what she can take her 4:02 1500m down to, 3:55?

Lordy, her 800 PB was 2:07 two and a half years ago, this is her first time under 2:01!

In any case, Millrose is going to be interesting. Muir will run the 800m, Reekie and Debues Stafford the mile, I think. They had probably been planning with World Indoors (Muir has been better indoors than outdoors in the last three years) and seem in really good shape.
Reekie is gonna be a big star. Very sexy too.
That group is really f'ing strong. I think having training partners like that can really bring great improvements.

Doesn't tick enough boxes. In my books, it isnt enough to be quick, gotta be quick + one or more of (missed tests, previously banned/suspicious coach, doped training partners, sketchy doctors). Thus far, only mark against Jemma is that she's had a huge breakthrough. She's got no other black marks on her record.
Any thoughts on the spikes? Seem to be (now illegal) Nike prototypes?
And before anyone says 'she still had to run it'. Yes she did - and she ran it wearing a pair of Nike prototype spikes.
