How ridiculous downhill was that?
Huge downhill.
It still beats you up to run that fast. His HR stayed over 200 from 600m on, if you believe that data.
He's funny.
Good show
Downhill does not count change my mind.
he just keeps pumping out interesting content. real friendly guy and doing a very respectable job on the youtube scene. i enjoyed this video way more than i did the "world records" that he was setting a few months back. keep it up, nick!

Revel ridiculous downhill.
Can anyone verify that it was actually a mile?
Symonds May be the only good marketing for track and field. He makes it fun to be a fan. Rather than Rojo who just negative Nancy’s everything, symonds embraces a fun aspect of running.
How many people are going to try this at home?

In high school my coach always promised us we'd get to do a downhill mile after the season to run fast times. I was a 4:09 guy in high school so I'd probably have run a really fast time but he never followed through on it. Our was probably more downhill than what Symmonds ran on. But not too steep. It was always the last two miles of our runs so we'd really crank the times down at the end of runs.
So yea, I think a lot of people will be trying this at home.
He just raced a 4:40 for the 1600m on the track. He's gotten quite out of shape. What do we think he's weighing? 170lbs?

Of course you can't. This time we get the continuous shot I've been asking for, but obviously there are no markings that would indicate the distance and that was much more than a 250 foot net drop. When he is on a track, where distance would be obvious, we don't get the continuous shot, we get a whole bunch of edits every time he gets to the 100, 200, and 300, markings. Nothing he does is transparent; that's not a great look for the CEO of a company.
As I said before, he's P. T. Barnum revisited.
Cool

Here we go again! Sick Nymmonds frantically masturbating to Nick's YouTube videos again while he claims to dislike Nick. Symmonds published the data from his GPS watch in that video. How much more transparent do you want him to be?
What happened to the 11 second thing? Not doing that anymore?

There you go again, masturbating to every post I make about Nick. It would seem that if you hated my posts so much you would ignore them.
See how that works?
Nick is the one who might take over my YouTube top from WhistlinDiesel.
Nick cut Vaporflys in half, WhistlinDiesel destroys nice trucks for fun.

Yeah, thinking the same thing. Based on some of the times he’s run in his other recent videos, I have my doubts he could run sub-4 for an actual mile even with that downhill.
Also, NOT first sub-4 in vaporflys.

I’d love to see him run that same mile course in normal flats and see how the time compares.
