I've put about 25 miles on my bostons and noticed a crack in the plastic torsion bar after a run today. It looks superficial but I can't tell how deep it goes. Is it normal for this to happen on the boston / adios?

Have run in pairs and pairs of Bostons. Never had a crack in the Torsion bar. Did you land midfoot on a curb or something?
Dang, I'm not sure. The torsion bar is quite scuffed in general but I didn't feel an uncomfortable landing.

Never have I ever experienced this. 25 miles? They should replace them for free, as long as they have been recently purchased.
Dang. I don't have another pair of trainers to run in if they replace them.
I had that bar crack on a Boston 6 about halfway through the life of the shoe didn't notice any difference.

That shouldn't happen. Ask for a replacement.
Just return it and get a new shoe. This shouldn’t be a big deal.
fwiw it's making virtually no difference at all.

That’s just a scratch
see if Adidas will send you a new pair without you sending in the broken ones.
ya that looks like a scratch, can you move the two pieces independently?
I spoke to adidas and they will issue a refund once they receive the shoes back. Their customer service (and nike too) is very good.
