Yes, the NYS girls 200m outdoor and 300m indoor champ last year I believe
Anna Fenske won Class AA and Tierney Wolfgram won Class A MN state XC meet in 2016.
Carrie Tollefson won Class A state meet in 1990
Lauren Ping won the 3200 last year in track as an 8th grader
Didnt claire walters win the ny xc class a as an 8th grader?
Also Tierney Wolfgram won the 1600 and 3200 at state while Grace Ping was in Utah

Yes
Happens in Louisiana all the time. Especially girls.
I'd imagine someone like Laura Roesler in a state with a small population could have done it with ease
out of curiosity, has a 6th grader?
It would happen in many states if they allowed it. Minnesota doesn't have a monopoly on 8th grade talent, they just allow them to run as high schoolers.

Bella Thornley
https://sc.milesplit.com/meets/325565/results/619385/formatted#.XhFhniROklQGabrielle Jennings won state in LA from 5th-12th grade. She finished top 20 at NCAAs this fall.
Austin montini did in Florida 1A for the 3200, weird breakout race but he PR'ed by a lot to win
In 1993, 10 year old Rachel Sanford of Somerset won the Kentucky 3AAA XC individual title. She was 4'11" and 75 lbs. I couldn't find her time. Her team was Southwest Pulaski County HS, although she was in 5th grade at the nearby elementary school. This is in the NY Times archive from 12/4/1993.
Who is the most successful runner to have won in JH? Most peak early and disappear. Only 1 or 2 had success in college.

Yes
So did Saratoga's Nicole Blood and Erin Davis, Davis also won the Federation.
I believe Laura Roesler won the ND State 400m as a 7th grader, and then already as an 8th grader won the 100, 200, 400 and 800.
KY girls ran 4k at the time. Her time was in the 14:30 range. She also won 3A for five straight years. 5th- 10th grade. I think her time in fifth grade equal out to around 18:30 5k...... Give or take.
I am not 100% sure but Melissa Straza may have won a title as an 8th grader in the mid 80’s in Illinois.

Emma Coburn to miss Olympic Trials after breaking ankle in Suzhou
Jakob on Oly 1500- “Walk in the park if I don’t get injured or sick”
