He needs to get going with dropping 5000m & 10000m on track.

He needs to get going with adding 3000m on track.

Coe needs to get going with adding 7.5K XC and 15K XC as off-site Olympic & World Championship events.

Two hundred metres on straightaway needs to be added and 200m on curve needs to be dropped at Olympics & W.C. One-hundred metres and two-hundred metres events are full stride events. I do not want 200m sprinters worrying about lane violations.

Two-hundred metres low hurdles needs to be added at Olympics and W.C.

What Are The Most Popular Sports In The World? Here's two different sources with different measures of statistically coming to their conclusions. I don't see Track and Field anywhere.

Table tennis before Basketball and Baseball. That puts perspective to things.

Track is the only sport in which they actually kicked out a major participant (Russia). It's incredible! So now this clown thinks it's going to gain popularity?

I'm sure you can create some metric like participation to put it in the top 5. But I think profitability and revenue is really the metric that counts and it isn't even in the same neighborhood as the top group there. Just off the top of my head in no particular order:

Soccer, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, cricket, golf, tennis, cycling, auto racing, X sports, fortnite, and drone racing. Those last two are jokes but may have bigger revenue.

And who are these three that are recognisable worldwide? Seems the Lord is taking a leaf out of Trump’s playbook by stating alternative facts.

There are three sports, tennis, swimming and traithlon, which are all within on percentage of athletics.

I'd say tennis is way more popular than athletics, swimming perhaps the same (Olympics dominates a lot, but not the same necessarily), and triathlon (?!) much less.

lebron makes more than every pro runner in the country combined.

but more people run than play any sport.

running is last for money and first for participation.

Basketball is tiny in Europe. Certainly athletics is bigger worldwide (maybe not by certain simplistic metrics, but certainly in terms of distributed participation and interest across the world).

Tennis is also not that big a sport in terms of participation, athletics is much bigger.

As a concrete example in Europe, in Norway athletics is definitely the third largest non-winter sport by any metric, after football (soccer) and handball.

I'd say 4th, after skiing. More popular than ice hockey, curling, ski jumping, etc

Athletics is not a Sport. Running is a Sport. Jumping. Throwing. But not "athletics".
