I wouldn't say no chance in the 1500. Top level high school females tend to run very well in the 1500 (see Kate Murphy, Christina Aragon, etc.). If she does a lot of speedwork and races the 600, 800, and 1000 more often indoors then she might have enough speed to run 4:06 outdoors. Slim chance, but it's possible. It does make more sense for her to try in the 5000 though because she's much closer to the standard. I would like to see her try a 10k though.
