Personal
Morgan Pearson was a swimmer and runner in high school. As a runner, he was a state champion in the 3,200-meters. After high school, Pearson ran collegiately for the University of Colorado Boulder. Pearson was introduced to triathlon in 2017 through USA Triathlon’s Collegiate Recruitment Program. He had done one triathlon in high school, then decided to pursue the sport more seriously because he believed his swimming and running background would make him well-suited for competing at the elite international level. He earned his elite license after winning the men’s overall title at the 2017 USA Triathlon Age Group Sprint National Championships. Then in June 2019, in just his second season as an elite triathlete, he earned his first ITU Triathlon World Cup medal — a silver in Huatulco, Mexico. Pearson enjoys playing basketball, lacrosse, and reading.

He ran 13:36.22, not 13:26.22, and has the 15th, not 8th, best mark in the 5000 at CU.
Oh definitley.
Who cares? He's dating Molley Grabill. He's doing pretty good.
He does lacrosse and hoops on the side? WTF. Running and tri aren't enough.
How can he be a Tinman with a different corporate sponsor? He was wearing a 361 kit. I thought Tinman Elite was with Adidas. Same goes for Reed Fischer who wore Tracksmith. Are there different USATF rules for Club Nats?
Timeout rojo, mmmkay
The word you used - "spank" - is an offensive term in light of recent happenings in the community, mmmkay.
13:36.22 -track 13:32 -road.
not surprised. Top tier triathletes can run. Alex Yee is a UK triathlete and ran 27:51 for a track 10k at the age of 20.

Tinman is not sponsored, however, they all wear adidas since Drew and Sam (and maybe one or two others) are signed with them. However, I'm fairly sure they are trying to secure an adidas sponsorship for the team which has been unsuccessful so far. Pretty sure USATF doesn't care what you wear or about sponsors as long as you fall under their guidelines for being a club.
Side note: Reed Fischer was wearing adidas gear in the videos I saw of the race today, but he does tend to wear Tracksmith gear when he's not racing with Tinman Elite.

Rumor has it that a protest is underway - there’s prize money at stake:
“ Team Uniforms
The jersey or singlet worn by the members of a team (i.e., Club Northwest Men Open “A” team) shall be basically identical for each member in color and style, and must be clearly visible throughout the race, i.e., worn as the outer garment if other apparel items are worn underneath by one or more team members. Individuals not complying with this uniform rule may be disqualified from scoring for a team. If a club has an “A” team and a “B” team in the same age/gender division then the “B” team must obtain stick-on letters at the packet pick-up for use as identifying back tags if both team uniforms are the same. No problem if uniforms are different.”
https://cdn.flipsnack.com/widget/v2/flipsnackwidget.html?hash=fvpi4kjt4&t=1576098466&fullscreen=1I think they should have worn the same kit and different shoes, and the unsponsored athletes could tape over the Adidas symbol. Just like being a member of a national team, there is nothing wrong with repping a different gear company when racing for a team.
Total chicken$hit move to protest a uniform violation for a win. What does it matter if "money is at stake"? Have some effing pride in yourself.
Idaho Distance Project needs a 5th runner.
