I signed up for a double race tomorrow. At 9 am, I'm running a 10k, and at 10:30 am, I'm running a 5k. The total combined time (15k) wins.
This is my first time running two races of this length in a day with a break between. I'd love input on a few questions:
1. How would you recover between races? I'm planning on a small cooldown, a banana + some water, and a short rest. Is there a better plan of action?
1. How would you pace yourself? Would you run the 10k all-out, then hope for the best in the 5k? Would you treat the 10k like a tempo and run the 5k hard?
