For 2 years straight I was suffering from chronic nausea, most races I would get so nauseated I would throw up or feel like I was going to throw up. (I even felt nauseated after normal slow jogs)After my last marathon I decided to quit running for awhile and the nausea 100 % subsided (so did random bouts I was having with Atrial Fib). I really want to start running again but am concerned that I will go back to having to take nausea medicine. I am curious if anyone else here has experience with the same issue?
My guess is that the stomach pressure from tensing my core was forcing stomach acid up my esophagus as I was having chronic heartburn and bloating when I was running too.
