Dude that is all bullshit! In high school I used to masturbate hours before races and I was a state qualifier (1:56 for the 800). Don't obsess.

True: I had amazing sex with a beautiful woman, not my wife, 4 times in the 36 hours before my race in Carson (and once after before a trip to the beach and the airport) and finished 6th. I don't know if it helped, but it didn't hurt.
Well, I doubt it has any real effect on your racing, but you probably don't want to do it for the first time the night before a championship race. If you're so inclined, try it early season, if you have an unjustifiably bad race, don't do it any more. If not, then don't worry about it. I think, like a lot of things about pre-race prep, that this is mainly a mental thing; If you're convinced its going to screw your race and you dwell on this during the race, its probably going to mess with you a bit.
