No track and field athlete in the world is doing what i'm doing in the gym. Other than
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey briefly. Seems like even he is scared to go heavy anymore due to the fact that he's afraid to get too bulky now for the 100.

470 LBS Paused Hack Squat for 1 rep at 6'0 and 224 LBS. On an Icarian hack squat machine. Feet at the bottom. It's tougher to do with feet at the bottom than feet at the top.
Paused at the bottom to allow all momentum to stop and then back up again. No bouncing. It's harder to pause it than to bounce off the bottom. No knee wraps.
Last week I was at 465 for 1. I said last week that I want to go for 470 for 1 this week because I got my 445 for 2 up last week. So got it up. This is now approaching all time PR strength levels.
Pound for pound strength levels that is. My all time record on this at this bodyweight is right around 475-480. Somewhere around that. My power to weight ratio is increasing.
I'm going to test my broad jump in the cold to see how what this does to my broad jump.
Still have tendinitis in my right hip. All summer from July to OCT I was stuck at like 425 to 435 for 1 at the same bodyweight because of the tendinitis and I told myself that I'm just going to say screw it and push through the pain instead of taking off. Because it's pointless to take off for this because the tendinitis usually hits me every single year in my hips and it lasts for 10 months at a time sometimes. So i have to just lift through the pain.
I told myself that I want to just listen to Cypress Hill and Pantera and Huey Lewis and the News and still try to make progress on this tendinitis or no tendinitis and it's working so far.
I'm going to see what this does to my sprinting up to 60 meters in the 40, 35 yards, 20 and 10. Haven't really had time to sprint because of the cold. Need a warm day out to test the power to weight ratio and see what this does for it.
Right now i'm eating tons of garlic and cayenne pepper powder to reduce cortisol levels. About to make a shake too.
Also started up a new exercise at the gym and that's dumbbell obliques to try to get the fat off of my obliques from that pointless weight gain thing last year. Trying to decrease fat in all areas to increase power to weight ratio.
