Congrat's to the 2019 "REAL" NCAA Divsion I Cross-Country All-Americans .... by that I mean, you have to be a US citizen. Why would we call foreigners "American'?

39 Ian Shanklin JR NC State 31:19.2 at the #25 spot. It should mean something, and the #40 spot is just too generous. Top 25 is good.

I find this funny, because I was infamously known back in the day for highlighting all foreigners on the NCAA results list and posting to track talk, but I at least had the Balls to post under my real name.

My whole point of doing so was to show what coach's develop talent and what coach's go across seas. I was labeled a xenophobic racist, and I'm not by no means.

This post is very lack luster and all your saying is, foreigners don't deserve a certain arbitrary status because of their nationality. I won't label you a xenophobic racist, I'll let other people on here do that for me.

I will say, the NCAA is an organization that allows anyone in the world to join. In that organization you can gain arbitrary achievements. Just be happy you have the opportunity to go and compete against some of the world's best and quit making excuses about why you should be an All-American. If you wanted to keep going down this route maybe we shouldn't give all American status to Individuals who are unable to qualify as individuals.

- Indeed, all I'm doing is recognizing "American" talent in our NCAA Championships .... the "N" standing for National versus a WCAA where "W" stands for World. Theirs an IAAF opportunity for those globalist ... the World University Games where the East Africans have made a mockery of the event by sending athletes that neither attend a University nor have a validated age.

- My point is to be an All-American you have to be an American first. Thus my post simply recognizes those deserving indivdiuals who hit the "Top 40" & given them a "Job Well Done!" recognition. If I had access to the data, I'd also only allow this for traditional college students between 18-23 less those that had or do serve in the military & F/T students: Lickety's "BYU Rule!"

are you a moran? the 'National' in NCAA stands for the colleges ya doofus...not the athletes. Our national colleges take students from all over the globe.....it's a big part of what makes this country great. Is there a part of this you don't understand?

People from those countries do not typically refer to themselves as Americans. The USA has the word America in our country's name. Thus, we call ourselves Americans.
