Has anyone tried this? What are your results? Do they seem realistic?

Its based on a study that included 20~ healthy adults and it found that the best predictor of marathon time was average distance over 8 weeks and the average mileage.
Since the runners in the study haven't run faster than 2h45 the results won't be nearly as accurate if you're faster. Also, I believe there was only 1 female included in the study so this may be applicable "mostly" to men.
I got 3h05 minutes off 742 miles and 8:56 min/mile pace from the past 8 weeks
