All of the talk of a mush mess rain on race day seems to not be coming true. The first turn is certainly wet but they were putting down a drying agent today. There is only a 20% chance of rain at race time tomorrow.
The women's race is a 11:15. Men are at 12:15.
We'll do doing a live pre-race show tomorrow starting at 10 am ET. Check back and will tell you how to listen or watch (if we do video).

If you haven't entered the prediction contest, you can still do so here:

Um, you forgot Purdue as a mens podium contender. Winning the 2nd or 3rd deepest regional and running close to home is worth something.

If no video, at least get another picture of Gault's calf and how much mud he accumulated while jogging the course.
-
I'm still upset they took a live streamed collegiate event and put it behind a paywall. I get it for pro track but this was a low blow.

Next year to make the race more equitable the following should be implemented :
Teams that train at altitude must start 30 seconds to 60 seconds after start depending on elevation.
African-born runners must start 1 minute after start.
Runners over the age of 24 need to start 30 seconds after start. Each additional year of age add 10 seconds.
All runners need to run in same shoes.
Seems fair to me in this age of equality.

Not streaming the races free-to-watch is so stupid. Do they believe there are many people willing to pay to watch it? They would make much more money by streaming it to a very large viewerbase and accepting sponsorship deals that would pay lots of money for visibility on these streams.
Some organizations still live in stone age, and fail to transition to the new, digital era. -
Great you are providing pre-show. If only FloTrack would provide livestreaming of the races. Paying $30 to watch for a couple hours is absurd.
-
Next year I'd like to see free live drone coverage. Will there be a Jenny Simpson epic meltdown this year by any of the favorites?

btw...it's free! -
One year they need to hold the championships way down south, say in Florida. There are plenty of golf courses suitable for such events. Possibly one in Maro Lago. I ran several of my high school XC races through orange groves.

Not all heroes where capes, people. -
Is the stream super stuttery for everyone else? I hate flotrack so much, they are a cancer for this sport.

Man, I agree. Really sucks.
