What event group at Cal?
So I’m assuming that Edrick canned Matt McGee like Star Kist, or were there any recruiting violations, or did his events group not produce?
Looks like a DI in Georgia is opening up!
Any word on where Robert Morris is in their search and any top candidates?
Lady of the Lake head job open.
Who should GA State go after? Cant imagine this job pays that well, but Atlanta is a nice place to coach and live
It seems GSU had diminished England's role while elevating an assistant over him, and likely anticipated he would be leaving.
Had some very high point scorers in the Sun Belt women's distances for indoor. Since England probably checked out of recruiting in the early fall and their best runners were seniors the distance job looks to be a big rebuilding project.
Not bad at all

Note that England was a head Coach at Georgia State up until he left. They elevated an assistant (over him) in the fall. A more accurate salary picture would be what the assistants make at GSU.
Also, they are probably in a hiring freeze for the time being. England was well known to be leaving (before the North Georgia job opened). Given the current situation Georgia State is probably not in a big rush to fill this (even by the fall).

Do not get too excited. Word on the street is that the position is entry level glorified director of ops if Cal can afford to keep the position. Because they cannot afford a director of ops and Lockhart is the actual distance coach.

Sounds like a good stepping stone for those interested.

Whiningthebish’s pathetic attempt to deter applicants as she continues to scour the message board looking for her break out West. Good luck Bish!

Not sure about this, but UCA posted an article about Martin retiring as head coach. Beau Theriout will likely be elevated and they now have room for a second distance coach.
$30k advertised, to be a second distance coach, is a good job for someone starting out. Probably competitive, given the lack of opportunity, turn over, and retirements this year.

I guess? If describing the job as a "good stepping stone" is considered an insult to you. Are you the dude who thinks I'm the UC Davis coach? Lol I hope you've gotten your much needed counseling since our last excursion.
