I've been lurking for a very long time and only posting occasioanly, but I'd like to say it's great that there are now at least 3 regular female posters! We can't let the guys have comlete control of the board. Ladies- 16x, calbear, runnerbabe, Tara, fou- and any others that are out there, keep posting! I plan to post more too.

yes, I should have been careful with the use of "girl" in the subject of this post. It's a term reserved only for the use by us women, as calbear points out.

Yup, I'm a lurker here. I ususally find the conversations completely idiotic..so I rarely say anything. I always laugh at the "hottest chick" threads, because I've met/known/talked to several of the chicks on there.

Why's everyone so sensitive about the "girl" label? I mean it with all the respect I can muster up through the message board. I know my wife would smack me if I called her a girl, but I just don't get it. I thought women liked to be mistaken for younger than their true age. Why do you gals make it so darn difficult for a guy to know what the heck it is you really want to hear?

"girl" indicates emotional and physical underdevelopment. A woman is the product of complete physical and mental development into female adulthood. The only women who want to be called "girls" are most likely just that.
