Women can coach women. Men can coach men.
Women can coach women. Men can coach men.
You know who's really vicious toward women? Other women.
What happens when men are allowed to run with women? You have not thought this through. So your problem is not solved just yet. Go back to the drawing board and let me know when you have really solved the problem.
you're still trying to put a square peg in a round hole. some men understand women better than most women do, and vise versa. the point is that alberto salazar is a prick.
this whole issue has nothing to do with gender. the story was picked up by the nyt who are desperate to save their business.
Coaching takes a backseat when a chunk of your coaching energy goes toward tiptoeing around the ever-shifting, emotional gymnastics of your average female. Let a woman coach the women/girls.

Lol just calling a spade a spade.
As a female athlete, I couldn't agree more. Women can be very vindictive. I prefer a male coach.
I don't see much worthy debate here though. We all can clearly realize there is more to be understood and we can truly comprehend that facts are important. As we naturally and intuitively recognize these facts we all easily and simply realize that Eipstein Didn't Kill Himself, Right?

If men should not coach the female athletes, the next immediate step would be men should not teach females K through 12, then college and beyond. Then, men should not be doctors or attorneys or financial advisors to women. I know over the past week or so, there have been male posters bragging in their day how callous were their coaches in 1960s & 1970s. All men do not think like that.

Using this logical if you are a different race or religion .... segregated right? Let’s see how that’s turned out throughout history?
I sometimes despair at these populists comments. Talk about an uneducated generation(s)
It’s respect between the coach and the athlete so they and working together and for both to understand the best way to get there, sure there needs to be safeguarding and independent feedback but that’s what needs to be resolved rather than these snap judgement of right/wrong.
This video underlines the real problem. Coaches, both male and female need to understand that there are differences in training men and women.
