I had surgery on the posterior tibial tendon in March. 7 months post OP, I am having pain (which is maybe extreme, extreme tightness) of the tibialis posterior muscle. It usually happens after doing things like jumping and it resonates for a couple of days after. I can sometimes feel the pain when I'm walking or on stairs. My strength of my hip, glute, hamstring, quad, calf, ankle, is all very good so I don't think it's due to a weakness. I started some ultrasound/STIM which has helped a good amount if I do it a couple of times per day but I feel like I'm not fixing the actual problem. Do I need to get it massaged? Dry needled? I already stretch my calves a ton.
