I know fartleks are a run by feel kind of run and the paces shouldn’t really be calculated or be timed but I can’t help but wonder, what sort of pace would one usually hit relative to their race pace during this sort of workout.
Say you go for a 10k fartlek run, many many mp m would you normally be away from your race pace for that distance? For me, a good fartlek would be with pin 30-45s of race pace or maybe average about half marathon pace for this sort of run.
