For starters it's only between 11-13 days out the month that l have to do this. The other days l get 8 straight hours. I share custody of my 5 year old l have to get him to school, so l go to bed at midnight or a little after and get up at 5:30 to run. After that l take him to school and get back home for 8:45, and most days l can take a 3 hour nap. That gives me 8 plus hours. I know this isn't ideal, but after that nap l feel great, like l slept 8 hours straight, actually better, plus my body is trained to get up early a run. Every once and a while l can only take an hour nap when l get home, but without that nap l wouldn't be able to function. Anyone else ever do something like this? Does this seem like a doable plan? I know all the logic with the sleep cycles, but it really works for me.
