I’m ready for what’s next after the Next!
Will Rupp and others be rocking them in Atlanta?
Any chance us normal hobby joggers have a pair for our spring thons?

I’d have put money on a tie in with a big early year marathon that Kipchoge will run - probably London - but with the Olympics in July does anyone think he will race before that?
Maybe he will have a tilt at the HM record in spring and they will launch off the back of that.

9/2020. Limited quantities. $400+
The 4% are too new. Nike would lose bigly is the Alpha comes out too soon. I would say Tokyo at the earliest unless they slap a huge premium on them and charge $350+

They will be banned by the IAAF before the Olympics.

I see what you did there!
Maybe you should hold out for the PistoriusFly... then you too can aim for sub-2!
The IAAF isn't banning anything. Their group to look into the shoes is solely a PR stunt. The sub2 from Kipchoge made too many headlines and positive publicity.

Kipchoge isn’t one of Salazar’s lab rats. He doesn’t do all kinds of half marathon build ups.

Nike is going to keep adding more and more carbon plates to their pogo shoes, jacking up the prices, and people will keep buying them. We’ve reached peak insanity level. Boing boing!
People will stop buying when there is an alternative. Particularly a cheaper alternative. Nike really nailed it with the patent on the curve in the plate. Competition leads to innovation. I believe this barrier will be cleared and a rival will emerge.

You are on the right track, but need a tip: the "Oscarfly" is more marketing-friendly.
