Usually I get all my mileage in 6 days a week. Sometimes though I can finish the week early if I just double up on the last day. Example of my week this week is to run 80 miles:
Sun 20 long
Mon 8 recov
Tues 10 easy morn / 8 (4 mile tempo)
Wed 7 / 8
Thur - 12 / 7
... so as you can see would it better to take that last run of 7 miles on Thursday evening or hold it off until Friday? My legs have been feeling good so I figure I would just finish up in five days by doubling up three times a week , but should I turn some of those double days into single days and make my week longer? I feel like my body could use two days rest as this is my first time this summer going 80MPW.
