About 300 miles and they feel beat down.
What was your favorite shoe? That would help a lot in giving useful suggestions.
Going to your local good running store with your old shoes in hand would be even better.
It used to be my go to but have had to move on.
What type of shoe are you looking for?
You can find Pegasus Turbos right now for $90-$107 which is what i've moved to.

I tried pegs after adidas ruined the Boston, not buying another pair.
They were toast for me after only at most 200k. The foam was fine, but the upper had stretched and I either had to wear them too loose which caused my foot to cramp, or too tight which caused pressure points from the laces.
I did like them for those first 200k though, fit like a glove.

The 2019 saucony colorways are super rad . I have the hot yellow kinvara's. No one else at my school has them .

They're what I've worn for years and I love them but agreed, they wear out fairly quickly because they're quite lightweight. They always seem to be available on sale for $70-80 though so I don't mind.
I’ve been running in this shoe for years. I regularly put 900-1000 miles on every pair of kins. No injuries.

Great for up-tempo training and/or racing 10k and up. Wouldn't recommend for slower/recovery day running - they want to go fast.
Narrow as hell.
I don't understand the hype for kinvaras. Haven't had any in recent years but the ones i did have felt way to soft and wore down super fast

Same experience here. I wear them for slow/recovery runs, as I can't stand heavy shoes, and don't need a lot of padding. Haven't worn them for racing except for one half marathon.

Great shoe for me. Don't ever do what this blow hard says.

I didn't get them in the beginning either, but the 4mm is great, although too wide it's a great all-rounder shoe.
The 9s and 10s had some great bounce, easy to love the 4mm, great for general runs or tempos on the roads. My biggest beef is that they are pretty wide compared to Saucony's racing shoes (where I totally love the fit, but need more cushioning for my old lady bones. Trying the Hoka Tracer atm as a substitute due to plantar fasciitis.)

Same here. Granted, I have an efficient stride, am 5’11”, 145 lbs, and run on dirt/grass for 25-30% of my mileage. I am not sure I would recommend 900-1000 miles for everyone.
Good, I’ve had 4-5 pairs and get 500-600 miles out of them. No workouts only regular runs and the occasional uptempo
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
