Watch Live Final Day
Cheruiyot got to be prohibitive fav. Top US finisher - Centro or Engels? 1500 on the line.
Any other links to watch for free??
Centro more lightly raced. I like him over Engels, Jakob, Makhloufi, Lewandowski....
1st 400 Cheryouit fast, Kwemoi and then Centro
54s first 400!!! Single file since start. Cheruyout not playing any games and running the kick out of Lewandowski.
800 in 1:51!!! Tim flying
Cheruiyot avoiding Lewandowski's kick AND Jakob's pushing by pushing early. Great strategy, hope he wins.
Thanks for posting the play-by-play!!!
Not EVEN close
Ingebrigtsen was soft, wonder if he was still feeling the 5k.
MAKH DADDY WITH THE SILVER!! Americans have no chance when the pace is this fast. They're still amateurs compared to the elites at the 1500
Tim by a metric mile, Mahk daddy 2nd, Lewandowski just over Jakob for bronze.
yeah.. 3.31.7 off a 5k is soft for a 19yo.... jesus.
Did the Americans sandbag the 1500 so they wouldn't be accused of doping? Smart.
That was a GREAT race. Only 3s over the WR in a solo race (Guerrouj had pacers on all his fast races). No games, not giving Jakob a chance to push and make him trip, not letting it come down to a kick with Lewandowski.
Lewandowski's kick was weaker than usual (due to the extreme pace) but still enough to beat Ingebrigtsen.

Compared to what he did earlier this season it was soft.
Jacob needs to stop hogging the inside lane
Anyone else think Tim is clean? I don't know why, but that actually felt believable when it was all said and done.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
