I don't think Jakob cares one way or another if he got a medal...here we have a teen who pushed the best of east africa to the limit and they could only barely beat a teenager from a country that's covered in snow 3/4 of the year. Don't look good for east africa if you ask me. I don't think anyone is impressed by them anymore.

He ran really well.

I can see him getting a medal in the future. The Ethiopians had a good strategy and it paid off.

His finishing can't survive a fast pace unlike Edris. That's what make the difference between a potential medalist and a worl champion. But still he is a great talent.

Maybe Jakob can contact the same Italians that coach Edris and Berega?

I'm serious. Jakob could totally slay. The Italians seem to have crafted some fine training methods. They're also able to manipulate space and time. Jakob could run World Juniors again, as a 25 year old.
