As a high school runner I remember watching Bekele absolutely dominate the track; hard to believe this is real in 2019.
Been a rough past month for me, but this has raised my spirits.
You know, letsrun staff always talks about father time being undefeated, but quite frankly father time just took a massive loss right here tonight.
Also, deities don't answer to father time. Letsrun staff forgot that one as well. Father time is a mere subordinate to deities.

Thank you for covering for me. I thought that was kind of implied. Most people had marked our hero for dead, yet all is right with the world again. Everything is shifting back to where it should be.
It has been a rough patch recently, but this makes everything alright. After this, I know that peace is coming.
Also, the clash we have hoped for, yet many were doubting would happen, is coming as well in Tokyo.

I remember rooting for the comeback back in freshman year of HS, never thought he'd actually pull it off, especially after the repeated DNF's. Man this really picked up my day.
