She runs at wharf to wharf sometimes and never races it she shows up to jog the course f*** head and sorry asbout her granddad but I doubt that changed her plans dickweed

anyone have santa cruz wharf to wharf results from this morning? that's one of the greatest raod races...so much fun and some awesome elite runner

James Carney ran a great race, he was dropped, then clawed back and kicked down a Kenyan for third. One of the top two looked Ethiopian. I got 5th. Gotcher 6th. Christian Hesch is rounding back into shape, taking up the rabbiting duties for 1.5 miles. Yoder was 2nd for the ladies and Jill Boaz was 5th.

Why is it that anytime a person that is Kenyan wins a race that no one tells you there name? If it were an american they can tell us exactly how the race went and their mothers maiden name.

Because I know Carney and have raced him for years. Same for Gotcher, Yoder, and Boaz. Never met the two Kenyans and one Ethiopian who beat me. Good enough for you, ass.

Correction to the results. I thought about it and I believe I got sixth. Forgot about one guy, who happened to be from a small east African nation that is the home to many elite runners. Don't know his name either.

Peter, I think you were probably 5th because Gotcher was 7th and I thought you were two people ahead of him?

therein lies the beautiful wickedness of the course! it's so muthf***ing hilly, it can make even the best runners whimper if theyre not hill-happy. the hills can be a great equalizer. then just when you think youre at the finish line, youve got the extra 0.67 mile out & back to deal with. we have fun screwing around with the runners like this. ;)

Peter, next year win the race and then turn around and introduce yourself to them as they finish. ;-)Great way to make friends also.

I am absolutly shocked that you wouldn't know his name either. Lucky for you that there will only be 5 of them at the WC. You may be able to remember (or even memorize) 5 names. I doubt it though.
