idk how far I would make it. Probably 16-22.
But the human limit is certainly a bit higher than 63. I'd go with 75-80.

Less than 63. Around 42 days you'd have to be doing 300 mile weeks.

I bet given flat ground and the ability to ramp up, Sabbe could go 80-90 miles max.
James Shapiro averaged 40-50 miles per day in July 1980 when he ran across the USA.
There's dudes that do double and even triple Badwaters.
Always someone doing 50 marathons in 50 days.
All things considered, maybe 65-70 miles before you're done?

Hiking is not running. There’s got to be a minimum pace requirement.
No where in the original post does it say running. Plus Karel Sabbe is a runner.
Depends on if you are a Kenyan or not. They can probably go 100+ days. As for me, I would say 10 days maxed.
I need at least one rest day per week, so I last only 6 days.
Sure some rare ultra dude could go up to 50-60, but most of us on the board wouldn't last long.
Even quitting at 20 means you did a 119mile week. I know everyone here talks a great game about running high mileage but I'm pretty sure the reality is only about 20% who post here could currently handle even that amount of mileage.
I'd stop at 16.
My training partner did this for the entire month of November last year. He went well over the needed amount on days 1-14 as he hit about 100 miles in weeks 1 and 2. I think he ended up with 560 for the month or something like that.
If there were huge incentives, i could probably make it to day 12 or so? I assume walking breaks would be allowed, but the walked distances would not count toward the total.
If i assume the reverse — that any bipedal locomotion is fair game toward the distance covered— then my answer would be different. A person can add walking mileage without killing themselves for the next day, so that extends things in a big way,
Someone started a challenge like this a few years back (maybe on Strava?) but it was only for the month of February and you basically did just this. Ran 1 mile On Feb 1, 2 on the 2nd, 3 on the 3rd, etc. The only one I know who did it was a very experienced ultramarathoner. How fast he did it? No idea.
I'd think someone like Joe Fejes, Pete Kostelnick, Karel Sabbe, Courtney Dauwalter could get to 70 to mid 70s relatively easy. You'd have to look at someone with multi-day racing/running/hiking type experience
Myself? I'd probably be able to get to the mid 20s to early 30s mark.
It would make for an interesting 3 week cycle of training (I just can't see me doing week #4 of 175M).
If you did a nice easy week of 28, then 77, then 125, then go back to a down week of 28, and start it all over again.
I'd probably barely make it to 10 days if I had to guess.

Anyone want to revise their guesses down now? Making it to day 50 would be quite a feat in my mind, anything close to 60 seems nearly impossible.
