I don't understand why anyone would want to wear VaporFly/Next% on the track or on the country. Seems like the extra cushioning would just slow you down as you already get cushion from the track or ground...

"It also found that the Vaporfly was 2.6 percent more efficient than Nike Zoom Matumbo track spikes, and observed an average improvement of 1.90 percent in 3,000 and 5,000-meter track times—new territory for a shoe that’s mostly been marketed to marathoners."

The BYU guys wore Vaporflies at NCAAs for the 10,000 if I’m not mistaken and Gwen Jorgenson was wearing a “Flytumbo.” Not for me but it seems to work for them.
Mating a Victory plate to a Next % seems ridiculous but it matches the color scheme so there ya have it... A Matumbo plate would make more sense IMO.

Nike: Please make a half stack 5-10k road flat (for half marathon use..) with a carbon plate, 4mm offset, minimal forefoot cushion (Zoom X ??) with any upper besides Flyknit.
Thanks,

Maybe for large swaths of casual to semi-casual hobby joggers.
I have doubts that a 7oz. 1.5” tall shoe will benefit those at the shallower end of the performance distribution over a Mamba or Victory.
