nike free owners

I don't wear socks with mine, but yes I do love them, they're extremely comfortable. Only thing i've noticed is after more than 40 minutes of running in them i start to develop a burning feeling on both of my big toes, which is basically meaning forming a blister. I think it's because you push off of that area more in the free's than in flats or regular shoes? That's my only guess.

i heard that you're not supposed to run in them very long

ie: just the warmup and striders before a workout or race

I don't wear socks with mine unless it is pretty cold. I don't have any problems with hot toes, though I did blister on the ball of my foot in a half marathon; not uncommon for me in any shoe.

I were mine 95% of my running including log runs.

what is all of your ratings on the frees? I am interested in them but they just don't seem like they would be a great running shoe. So do they work for you?

I think it's a great running shoe. I mean, it's really soft, the upper feels amazing, you'll never get a blister on the top of your foot that is for sure. It feels different from a flat I know that much. People say the heel is too high, but personally I never really touch the ground with my heel enough to worry about that. I suppose it will only get better if they get down to like 2.0 or so on the frees. However I did a 47 min. barefoot run monday and have felt it up to today, while i have done 60-65 min. runs in the frees and not felt sore like i have barefoot. So obviously just plain barefoot running has its place too.

I love my Free's......I run only one day a week in them at the moment. I wear them all day long other wise! Very comfortable and fun to wear! My favorite shoe all time up to this point!
