He is 32-years old. Like Nick Willis, he is showing that it's still possible to PR late in life and have great performances.
His speed is still outstanding for a miler, allowing him to win slow races that go out in 61/62, but it is unlikely that Doha will be slow with so many guys who can run sub 3:30. Today he had a great time, but not his usual killer kick at the end, the 54s first lap definitely took out a lot of him there wasn't anything left in the tank at the end.
Lewandowski also a season's best of 1:43.74 for 800, only .02 off his PR.
Lewandowski makes progress: yeah, that's awesome.
Musagala makes progress: it's because of shady italian coaches in Uganda
Love Letsrun

Do Poles have a history of doping and age cheating like the East Africans? I think not.

So which Polish runners have tested positive in the last 30 years? Even under the communists they weren't the worst offenders. Can you supply any links to sources reporting age cheating in Polish sport?
Uganda suddenly turning into a distance running powerhouse just when their East African neighbours are finally being subjected to testing? Even their 26 year old sub-elites turning overnight into world beaters?
Nothing to see here.

Which Ugandan runners have tested positive??!! Uganda is a different fcking country to Kenya with absolutely no history of doping.
Poland is in Eastern Europe which is famous for repeated systematic doping. They've also had a fair few weightlifters etc caught. If we are playing the guilty by associated geography game hahaha.
There is nothing more suspicious to be said about Uganda than Poland, it's pure xenophobia on this forum that is it.
How is a 26 year old running PBs more suspicious than a 32 year old?! Actually just joke posts on Letsrun as always. Any black African cannot avoid being called a doper no matter who they are or where they train or what their performance even was. Even athletes that are 100% US based get called dopers.

Yes, I'm polish and can write you some examples. Sprints: Ziemowit Ryś, Przemysław Rogowski, long distance: Danuta Piskorowska (national marathon medallist), Artur Osman (1:03 half marathoner), Wioletta Kryza (marathoner), Antoni Niemczak (2:09 marathoner, chicago marathon second place, new york marathon second place)
Is it enough? It took me some time to write it

Anti African brigade goes home devastated
Great runs by Lewandowski and Musagala. Why can't we celebrate both?

You didn't like the run by the Pole? Or the Ugandan?
Could this mean his nose thing really works?
I often think my nose restricts my breathing during exercise. It fills up with snot.
It was an awesomne race and I'm verry happy for Musagala won, but I'm also happy that Lewandowski made NR. Why people here can't enjoy the race?
Lewandowski and Kszczot before they were famous
Uganda has 'no history of doping' (like Ethiopia) because of abysmal testing standards. The recently opened WADA lab in Nairobi was the first ever in Africa, and likely still wont have an impact on Uganda. We can suspect Uganda 'by regional association' because the very same reasons for the doping problem in Kenya are present in Uganda - poverty, financial incentives, lack of testing, proximity to the EPO supply chain, Italian managers, doctors, and coaches moving from Kenya to Uganda. And yes it's suspicious that Uganda's stock is rising so suddenly just as Kenya's is falling. To make the same accusation about Poland because its 'in Eastern Europe' is pure ignorance. The Berlin Wall fell 30 years ago, and as pointed out, Poland wasn't even as bad as its neighbours the GDR, Czechoslovakia etc. Russia and Ukraine have doping problems because they autocratic political systems not unlike the Soviet Bloc of 50 years ago. Poland is a democracy and member state of the EU and NATO. Not saying there might be a greater doping problem there than in other Western countries, but to suggest it's on the scale of East Africa or Russia, simply because 'it's in Eastern Europe' is embarrassing.

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
