I was just wondering what people thought of doing speedwork in racing flats, particularly if that is going to be the type of shoe that one is going to race in.
I am a post-collegiate runner finally getting back to some serious training. I have always done speedwork in my regular training shoes. However, I have been doing some reading lately, and many people seem to advocate doing at least some work in racing shoes.
What type of training should one do in racing shoes? Only intervals? Tempo runs too? I am not going to change to doing all of my runs in racing flats so please do not suggest that.
