Cross Country Uniforms

All people competing for the same team must wear the same uniform when in the same race.

Varsity team could wear Jersey A, some guys wearing shorts and other half tights as long as they are the same color.

JV team could instead wear Jersey B. Since they aren't in the same race they don't have to also wear Jersey A.

If teammates are wearing different jerseys a coach might complain to an official who would probably have a stern talking-to with the coach or dq the mismatched runner.

It was like this at my first high school. The varsity team wore a different kit to the JV team. The varsity team also had a special state only uniform for when they went

What allowances are made for those competing that require modesty in dress or other cultural/religious wear. i.e. the wearing of the hijab, etc.

Those athletes would wear the singlet/jersey over their religious apparel.
