Could you please try again? :)
Takk.
Incredible rad.
That's rad, dude
Not rad!
When I was rad last night, I rad the idea to look in LR. But after seeing all these nonsense I got angry and rad in the face.
This is just another display of Jakob’s tremendous capacity. The brothers are in a severe training bulk at the moment where their goal is to «destroy» their shape with the ultimate goal of building it up again towards the WC.
Take a look at how easy Jacob ran a victory lap almost at a flying start after finishing a solo 3:36. He’s not even winded. Solid performance all around considering rheir training regimen as well as the competitive matching of the Norwegian NC - (which is abysmal).
Bold prediction:
Jacob will take gold in the WC 1500m - Mr. Tim can go run another day...
Video?
Maybe restrictions abroad, you tell me:
I mean, there is a video inside the story, but maybe it is restricted.
Jakob is going to be in a sub 3:27 shape come WC - mark my words. At that speed tactics start to become less and less important. His development in racing strategy is apparent - where before he would coast of the back to a respectable time - he’ll now take control of the race and dominate the opposition.
Noone likes to be outrun by a kid, and this will work in Ingebrigtsen’s favour.
Barring a serious accident I can’t think of anyone other than Tim that’ll even challenge Jakob in the WC.
Video of said race.

In the WC there will probably be a wait and kick race . Then Jakob will be in trouble with fast guys as Lewandowski..
Wait and kick race or no - Jakob is starting to show serious intentions with his new tactics. Who would’a thunk that Jacob would go and challange Tim in the Monaco 1500m 12 months ago. Yes it didn’t pay off but the progress is there.
He’s getting confident and has the capacity to pull it off. Today’s dominant NC performance in the midst of a heavy training block only cements that.
Lew is a fast closer - no doubt about that. But the sit-n-kick race you’re referring to would have to be a 3:37 or slower for the great Lew to punch properly last 3-400.
Tim knows that he has to push decently hard all the way to bring it home, I say that Jakob hangs on and crushes him in the last 500
Evan Jager came last.

yep, says "ikke tilgjengelig utenfor norge"
Youtube to rescue
it's not "solo"
Where is that? Nice track but it looks like a middle school with a small grandstand and people sitting on mostly grass. Shouldn't their national champs be at a proper stadium like Bislett?
And soloing 3:36 doesn't mean you're the world's best, not by a long shot. The Kenyan team at the world relays 4x1500 averaged 3:35. Even the Americans managed 3:40 and they weren't America's best.
It's in Hamar Norway, amidst the mountains and fjords. You could argue that NC should be at a "proper" venue - but then it would be in Oslo every year.
Nevertheless, I never said that Jakob is the worlds best 1500m runner. Based on the rankings of this year's performances it's cleary not the case. However his performance last friday is very impressive considering that the Ingebrigtsen brothers are in the midst of a serious training block at the moment.
We're talking a 110-130 mpw after DL London. They're going all in for another peak in towards the WC, and this means "destroying" their top end speed with large quantities of under LT runs. They'll continue this program into another altitude stint in august. When they return to sea-level we'll see them letting up on the milage and focus on top end speed.
I can confirm that just last thursday, (the day before his solo 3:36), Jakob and Filip ran not only the qualifier trails for NC 1500m final but also ran a 8x1200m workout with 59-61 laps. The day was finished with a 12 mile longrun into the evening hours. Jacob then steps up and runs a solo 3:36 the next day.
Tell me that isn't impressive.
Based on this I consider Jakob to be a very serious contender for gold in the 1500
