Whenever I race in a fast race (say 1600 or 3200) I always feel as if I am sitting back in a chair and not leaning enough. So two questions.
1. Is this ok?
2. If it is bad how do I fix it?

*Forward
Leaning forward while running Is not efficient.
If it’s your natural running form, you might live with it.
Some (not many) decent runners have this style, but it shouldn’t be adopted if possible.
Hips talk and shoulders down. Upright running position is the best mechanics.

Whole populations do it. The best populations actually.
Just google photos of elite marathoners. Everyone is rocking the forward lean.
Your forward lean ( or lack there of) is irrelevant to your race times in 800m or longer events.
