I run 40 mpw, 70% of this running is at 8.5-9 pace (my easy) pace and 30% is at tempo or interval (mile) pace. I do pne pure speed session a week (this can be 6x40 or 4x60 with full rests). So far, doing this has helped me improve both my sprint and distance times at the same time, I would like to carry on doing this because I enjoy hopping into local races and competing for the win in my age/gender catorgory (F25-29). I race 5/10ks at 6.5-7 pace and longer races at 8+ pace.
Sprint goals: I really want to run sub 60 in a 400m eventually, I know this will take some time so this is more of a mid-to-long term goal. I would assume that an appropriate short term goal is to be at sub 65 at the end of the year.

200m: 32.2
